Third panel: The mens' expressions. Priceless. It says something that you can convey emotions visually in this without the need for dialogue or thought-balloons.


"and looks into that chest over there?"

The hilarity of this panel was conveyed visually, through the characters' poses. I'm becoming more and more impressed by this series.

 

Man, I almost feel sorry for that chest-monster. Although now I'm thinking of the Luggage from the Discworld series.

Dammit. Now I'm imagining one of these characters getting something similar.

 

A bit of criticism, if you don't mind; I don't think the 'slash-slash-bash-pierce' words were necessary. In fact, I think that panel would be funnier without them.

 

I wonder how much more scary it would have been if the panel revealing the chest as a monster had been angled from Risey's point-of-view.

 

The spray of blood from Rainberry's warhammer, and the blood spatters on the wall in the following panel. Urm...yeah...good job.
